Dick has always used success as his driving force; whether it’s his business or personal life, excellence has been his goal. One of Dick’s heroes was Vince Lombardi who, upon becoming coach of the Green Bay Packers, told his team that they would relentlessly pursue perfection. They would never attain it, but along the way, they would capture excellence.
His resume goes back to age twelve, when he started in the retail automobile business. After finishing his education, his career path took him all the way to the top of the industry as a dealer. Then ten years ago, he left this work to become a trainer and consultant. Consulting exclusively for Ford Motor Company, and then starting his own company, exclusively for American Honda Corporation. Every retail store Dick worked with realized dramatic sales gains. Along the way, he has amassed a number of awards for his retail performance. With Ford Motor Company, he attained the Chairman’s Award, the highest award bestowed on a dealership for sales and customer service. Also, he was named Sales Manager of the Year twice and attained the elite “Legends” status, all with Ford. Dick’s performance consistently qualified him as a leader in sales and service excellence. His persistent, enthusiastic approach guarantees great results.
Because Dick knew Rick and Doug for a number of years and was aware of the successes they had attained with their clients, Dick was excited to join forces with this “Dynamic Duo.”
Dick lives in Minnesota, along with Kathy, his wife of more than forty years, five kids and seven grandkids. Oh yeah, there’s a dog in there, too. When you meet Dick, he’ll tell you that he’s just livin’ the dream. We hope he never wakes up.
